Antti Brunni

About

My background is in design and creative technology. Over the years, my work has moved from digital services to healthcare, business leadership and building a company.

How my thinking took shape

I studied media science, audiovisual media culture and ubiquitous computing at the University of Lapland. In Rovaniemi I produced cultural and art events, club nights, media festivals, a local radio station and exhibitions. Two of our design projects received a quality seal in the international EuroPrix Top Talent competition.

Since then my work has moved from digital services to healthcare and business leadership. At Tietotalo I led a web services business unit, at Solita I developed the health and wellbeing business, and since 2024 I have led Invinite, which I co-founded.

Milestones

These stages overlap. The full list is in my CV.

Public decision-making

I took part in municipal decision-making from 2004 to 2021: as a city councillor in Rovaniemi, on municipal committees, as a deputy member of the Espoo City Board and as chair of the Greens of Espoo. It taught me that the journey matters as much as the destination.

Culture and creative Saturdays

Culture has stayed with me from club nights and media festivals in Rovaniemi to the board of Espoo City Theatre and the delegation of Frame Contemporary Art Finland. Today I chair the board of the artist association Hiljaisuus ry (Silence Organisation). Based in the village of Kaukonen in Kittilä, the association’s work includes the Hiljaisuus Festival every June and a residency for performing artists.

On creative Saturdays I work on new projects, such as AI-illustrated storybooks and my own clothing designs.

Outdoors

I live in Espoo with my family. Fly fishing and hiking are my counterweight to work.
